Always in search of her very own and unmistakable sound, Laia Genc follows her very personal musical path.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
With her music, she is often a border crosser at the interface between jazz and contemporary music. Open to the rich influences of globalizing life, she also draws from various cultural areas, not least through the most diverse collaborations. &lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
At the heart of her work is the project &#8220;LiaisonTonique&#8221;, which released its debut album &#8220;Trilogien&#8221; with &#8220;JazzHausMusik&#8221; in 2005 and has been giving concerts worldwide ever since. For such a cocktail to be really addictive, however, care must also be taken to ensure that it not only looks good, but above all tastes good, or in this case sounds good, and is digestible. was born in Eswatini in 1981, but grew up in Lima, Peru. From an early age, she showed an innate musical talent, which she has refined and perfected over the years, especially on the caj&#243;n, in the field of percussion, on the electric bass, but also as a composer.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
In addition to her career as an artist, Laura Robles has also been active in music education and research into traditional rhythms. She has developed a modern way of playing the caj&#243;n, moving away from tradition and exploring new sounds and techniques.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
In 2012, Laura moved to Germany where she continued to develop her musical career. She is the founder of innovative music projects such as Astrocombo and Antigroove and a member of renowned bands such as Agua Dulce, Tripas, Perfektomat, Kim-Robles-Duo and Camina.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Laura Robles is a versatile artist who has succeeded in combining tradition and innovation in her music. Her passion for percussion, her creativity and her commitment as a music teacher make her a leading personality in today's creative music scene.&lt;/p&gt;

born 1987 in Neubrandenburg (as Julius Heise), was a junior student at the HfM Hanns Eisler Berlin at the age of 12 and studied various styles of music from classical and new music to jazz, rock and pop. He then studied jazz vibraphone at the Jazz Institute Berlin with David Friedman.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Since then he has been active as a freelancer in the Berlin and international jazz scene, with regular excursions into theater music (compositions for Konzerthaus Berlin and Berliner Ensemble) and classical percussion (with Alexej Gerassimez since 2005) and jazz mallet ensembles (Berliner Vibraphoniker with Hauke Renken, Berlin Mallet Group with David Friedman and Taiko Saito). Since 2014, he has also repeatedly led his own projects with which various CDs have been produced. Since 2018 Julius has been a lecturer for jazz vibraphone at the Jazz Institute Berlin, and also since 2018 an engineer and consultant for railroad maintenance and digitization.&lt;/p&gt;

Nothing here is cosmetically polished or ambitiously overdone. His music is credible because it comes across with rough edges, because it does not hide the dirt that is part of life. &lt;p&gt;After carefully weighing up the pros and cons, I decided on the E flat tuning and play a very rare 5/4 E flat tuba by &lt;strong&gt;Rudolf Meinl&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If desired or necessary, I also play B flat tuba.&lt;/p&gt;

		&lt;div class='rss_texte'&gt;&lt;p&gt;Trombones can be built very differently even in the same tuning. &lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
For example, in Bb there are both tenor trombones in various designs and bass trombones, again in a wide variety of versions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My idea was to develop a type of tenor trombone in Eb that would better meet the needs and wishes of a jazz trombonist than the generally common narrow-bore jazz trombones in Bb. With the help of the brilliant trombone maker &lt;strong&gt;Josef Gopp&lt;/strong&gt;, I managed to do this.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The result is the Casimir-Alto, which has been my absolute favorite trombone ever since!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The development of the trombone was supported by the &#034;M&#233;c&#233;nat Groupe BALAS&#034; foundation fund. Therefore I would like to express my gratitude once again!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also occasionally play my large-bore Bb tenor trombone by &lt;strong&gt;Pierre Hulot&lt;/strong&gt;, which I helped develop, and a medium-bore Bb tenor trombone by Olds, the Recording R20. The latter was considered a bass trombone when it was built! &lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
How times change!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
